| Obverse description | Green-tinted notgeld on light paper with a fir-branch and pine-cone border framing the entire note. The city arms of Triberg — a quartered red-and-white shield surmounted by a mural crown and supported by decorative scrollwork — form the central vignette, flanked on both sides by large Gothic numeral denominators '50 Pfennig'. Below the arms, the date 'Triberg, 25. Juli 1918' and a hand-written serial number appear alongside a manuscript facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister on behalf of the Gemeinderat. |
