Obverse description The municipal coat of arms of Treuchtlingen — quartered with a goose, three bells, and a fox — occupies the centre, surmounted by a mural crown and framed by a polychrome floral garland in letterpress across the upper portion. Gothic script inscriptions appear to the left and right of the arms, with the denomination numeral '50' printed in red at each lower corner. The signature of rechtskundiger Bürgermeister Sommer appears below the arms.

Reverse description A circular vignette at centre portrays an eagle in flight carrying a ring against a landscape of conifers and sky, rendered in a fine illustrative style and enclosed within a wreath of oak leaves and colourful flowers. Two smaller circular cartouches at left and right each bear the denomination '50 Pf.' in red Gothic script, flanked by the same polychrome floral garland border motif as the obverse. A patriotic motto in Gothic script runs across the lower portion, with the printer's imprint at the foot.
