| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in teal and dark brown on a pale teal guilloche underprint. A large central horizontal band in dark brown carries the denomination 50 Pfennig 50 in bold serif lettering, flanked on both sides by the numeral 50 set within ornate circular guilloche rosettes. Intricate lacework-style teal ornamental scrollwork fills the upper and lower portions of the note. Below the central band, the validity inscription Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1918. appears in letterpress, with the printer's imprint Schneider & Co. Altenburg S.-A. in small text at the bottom margin. |
