| Obverse description | Grey-green Notgeld gutschein with an intricate fleur-de-lis guilloche underprint covering the entire field. The denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" is set in large blackletter (Fraktur) script at centre, with the issuing authority legend above in matching typeface. A small municipal coat of arms of Wiesbaden appears in the upper right corner, the denomination numeral "50" is repeated in the lower left, and two facsimile manuscript signatures of the Magistrat appear below the central text.
