| Obverse description | At left, a partial guilloche numeral '50' in security ink, intended to register with its complement on the reverse through a transparent window in the shape of the Uruguayan national territory, within which four '50' numerals appear — two legible from the obverse, two from the reverse; a vertical red serial number is printed alongside the window. At center, the issuer's name, the Uruguayan coat of arms, commemorative dates '1967–2017', the inscription 'CINCUENTA ANIVERSARIO', and facsimile signatures of the Secretary General and President are arranged beneath the central vignette, with the face value in words below.
