| Obverse description | The aluminium bronze centre features the Mexican national coat of arms — an eagle displayed left, perched on a nopal cactus rising from a rocky islet, grasping a serpent in its beak and talons. The motif is rendered in high relief with fine detail. The surrounding stainless steel ring bears the national legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS arching along the upper periphery, flanked at the base by decorative laurel and olive branches tied with a ribbon. |
