A curved legend arcing across the upper portion reads 1992 - AÑO DE ESPAÑA, referencing the 1992 World Exposition held in Seville. The date 1991 and the inscription LA GIRALDA - SEVILLA appear below the tower. The mintmark is positioned at the lower right, and a ring of dots runs near the coin's edge.
