| Obverse description | The Dominican Republic national coat of arms is prominently displayed in the center of the field, depicting a quartered shield with a bible, crossed lances and flags, and a laurel and palm branch flanking the shield. A ribbon below the shield bears the legend REPUBLICA DOMINICANA. The circular legend REPUBLICA DOMINICANA arcs along the upper periphery, while the motto DIOS PATRIA LIBERTAD appears on a banner across the upper portion of the arms.
