Bolivia's 1962 currency was denominated in Pesos Bolivianos, a unit introduced by the Monetary Stabilization Act of 1963 — wait, actually the Pesos Bolivianos replaced the old Boliviano at a rate of 1,000 to 1 under the 1963 reform, but this note predates that change and was issued under transitional authorization as Bolivia restructured its monetary system following the catastrophic hyperinflation of the mid-1950s, one of the worst in South American postwar history.
Thomas De La Rue printed the series from London throughout this period, a relationship the Banco Central maintained continuously for decades.
