| Reverse description | Printed in olive-green intaglio, the reverse is dominated by a large central vignette of the Aztec Sun Stone (Piedra del Sol), rendered in fine detail within an ornate scrollwork surround. The denomination numeral '50' appears in four corners within guilloche rosette panels, and a solid border of engine-turned lathe work frames the entire composition. The printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY' is present in the lower margin below the main frame. |
