| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central oval vignette containing a bust portrait of a male figure in formal attire, set against an intricate guilloche underprint. To the right, an allegorical figure of a winged putto or cherub is rendered in intaglio. | Reverse description | The reverse is printed in a uniform green tone and carries a large landscape vignette occupying the central field, rendered in fine intaglio line engraving and depicting a rural Argentine pastoral scene with cattle, trees, and a ranch dwelling in the distance. The numeral 50 appears in large form at each of the four corners within ornate guilloche cartouches. Lengthy legal text in Spanish runs in two bands — one along the upper border and one along the lower border — setting out the conditions of issue and applicable legislation. |
