| Reverse description | The reverse carries a printed contractual text headed 'CONTRATO de 1.° DE OCTUBRE de 1857,' setting out the conditions under which El Gobierno Nacional reserves the right to demand amortization of this note, payable at face value in current coin or accrued interest. The text specifies that when amortization is required, notice shall be published in the official gazette of the Estado for fifteen consecutive days, and holders must present notes within thirty days of the first notice, after which interest ceases.
