Obverse description Black and grey intaglio print over a red and ochre guilloche underprint, with black serial number. A front-facing portrait vignette of King Alfonso XIII occupies the left side of the note, while a vignette of the Royal Palace of Madrid appears at the bottom centre. The remaining space is filled with intricate geometric designs typical of the period.
