Reverse description A colourised depiction of the pirate ship known as the Jolly Roger, rendered in polychrome enamel tones of brown, gold, and blue, sailing low upon stylised waves in the right portion of the field. The vessel displays billowing sails and a flag at its masthead, set against a dark background scattered with small decorative star motifs. The narrative legend THE JOLLY ROGER, LAY LOW IN THE WATER is inscribed in bold serif lettering across the left field, referencing the classic pirate tale. The denomination 50 appears in the lower exergue area. Design attributed to David Wyatt and Matt Tindall.
