Obverse description Right-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II after Arnold Machin's celebrated portrait, set centrally within a wide field. The Queen wears a tiara and her hair is styled upswept with delicate floral ornaments visible above the crown. The circumferential legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND, divided by the jubilee dates 1952–1977, with the date range positioned to the left and the royal title to the right. A fine beaded border frames the entire design.
