The peripheral legend, in raised Latin lettering, reads * FIFTY PENCE * at the top, flanked by the commemorative dates 1907 and 2007 on the left and right respectively, with the Scout motto BE PREPARED at the base. The engraver's initial K appears discreetly in the lower field, near the base of the fleur-de-lis. |
