| Additional information |
The "Send Her Victorious" inscription is drawn from the first verse of "God Save the Queen," making this one of four thematically linked 50p pieces the Isle of Man issued across 2022 to mark Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee — the first British monarch to reach 70 years on the throne. The Isle of Man, a Crown Dependency outside the United Kingdom proper, has long issued its own coinage under royal assent and has produced Jubilee commemoratives for every milestone since the Silver in 1977.
Elizabeth II died in September 2022, just months after this coin entered circulation.
