| Reverse description | The reverse is divided vertically into two distinct zones, combining silver and selectively gold-plated areas. The left half, in silver, displays the commemorative inscription LONG LIVE OUR NOBLE QUEEN arranged in five lines across the field in a decorative serif typeface, interspersed with three fleur-de-lis ornaments, with the denomination 50P at the base accompanied by a further fleur-de-lis. The right half is rendered in gold plating and features a finely detailed rampant lion passant guardant set against a hatched scale-pattern background, evoking the royal heraldic tradition.
