Obverse description The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, rendered in high relief by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicts the monarch wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara and a draped bodice. The portrait is encircled by the royal legend and date, with the engraver's initials IRB appearing at the truncation of the bust. The inscription is separated by raised dots in the field and arranged around the full periphery of the coin.
