Reverse description A Viking longship, traditionally associated with Odin's Raven, is depicted sailing to the right across stylised waves, its single large sail prominently displaying the Manx triskelion symbol within a circular roundel. A dragon-headed prow adorns the bow, and the Point of Ayre Lighthouse is depicted in the right field. The inscription DAY OF TYNWALD / JULY 5th appears in the lower central field beneath the vessel. The peripheral legend ISLE OF MAN to the upper left and FIFTY PENCE to the lower right, each flanked by raised dots, complete the design engraved by Barry Stanton.
