| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, depicted as a mature, uncrowned portrait with elaborately curled hair, as engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ISLE OF MAN arcs across the upper left field and ELIZABETH II across the upper right, with small decorative motifs separating the inscriptions. The date 2006 appears in the lower field beneath the portrait, flanked by additional ornamental devices. The engraver's initials IRB are present below the truncation of the bust.
