| Obverse description | The obverse features Arnold Machin's second definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, presented as a youthful right-facing truncated bust with flowing hair pinned back and adorned with a delicate tiara. The Queen's shoulders are draped in a light robe, lending an elegant classical quality to the portrait.
