Reverse description A group of seven traditional British Maundy coins displayed in an overlapping arrangement at the centre of the field, selectively gold-gilded to distinguish them from the silver ground. The Maundy coins bear their respective denominations — 1p, 2p, 3p and 4p — rendered in period style. A hatched geometric background in the upper portion of the field frames the coin grouping. The legend ROYAL MAUNDY SERVICE arcs across the lower field in two lines, with the denomination 50p below, flanked on either side by a fleur-de-lis ornament.
