| Obverse description | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief after the portrait by Martin Jennings, with fine naturalistic detail to the hair and facial features. The peripheral legend reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 50 PENCE · 2024, separated by raised dots and arcing continuously around the heptagonal field.
