| Reverse description | The reverse features two motorsport vehicles at centre — a vintage Brooklands Grand Prix racing car of the 1920s era juxtaposed with a modern Formula One car — symbolising a century of British Grand Prix racing. A stylised partial Union Jack flag forms the background field. The legend GRAND PRIX CENTENARY arcs around the design, flanked by the commemorative dates 1926 and 2026, with the privy mark ICP also present. |

| Additional information |
The British Grand Prix has been held at Silverstone since 1950 — the very first round of the inaugural Formula One World Championship. The circuit itself was a repurposed RAF bomber base, its perimeter tracks hastily converted for motorsport in the years immediately after the war.
Piedfort strikes double the standard flan thickness, a format revived by the Royal Mint in 1982 after centuries of dormancy. The 2026 date puts this issue ahead of the centenary itself, a common Royal Mint practice for commemorative pieforts sold as collector sets.
