| Obverse description | Uncrowned left-facing effigy of King Charles III, rendered in fine relief after the portrait by David Lawrence. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left periphery, with BAILIWICK OF JERSEY continuing to the upper right, conforming to the heptagonal coin shape. The date 2025 appears in the lower field, flanked by two small dots. The portrait depicts the King with natural hair and no regalia, in a contemporary artistic style. |

Air Chief Marshal Keith Park commanded 11 Group RAF during the Battle of Britain, responsible for defending London and southeast England at the height of the Luftwaffe's assault in 1940. His tactical decision to deploy squadrons in small, frequent waves rather than the large formations favored by his rival Trafford Leigh-Mallory remains one of the more consequential command disputes of the war. Park was largely written out of the victory narrative afterward — Leigh-Mallory's political maneuvering saw both Park and Dowding quietly sidelined within months of the battle's end.
Park was born in New Zealand, which makes his commemoration by Jersey an interesting jurisdictional choice.
