| Reverse description | The reverse is divided into seven radiating segments, each highlighted with 24-carat gold layering and depicting a key milestone from the seven decades of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. At the centre, the Royal Cypher EIIR appears prominently within a circular device. Reading clockwise from the top, the segments represent: The Coronation; Trooping the Colour during the Silver Jubilee; the first colour televised Christmas broadcast; the opening of Buckingham Palace to the public; the Diamond Jubilee; the Royal Yacht Britannia; and the Platinum Jubilee. Selected inscriptions from the Coronation oath and jubilee references appear within the legend and on the coin's surface. |
