Reverse description A Bengal tiger, the national animal of India, is depicted in left-facing profile, standing on a ground line at centre, with a palm tree and leafy branches rising behind it — an iconographic element drawn from the emblem of the Reserve Bank of India. The circumferential legend reads 'भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक' in Devanagari along the upper left and 'RESERVE BANK OF INDIA' in Latin script along the upper right. In the lower field, the commemorative date range '1935-85' is inscribed, with 'स्वर्ण जयंती' in Devanagari to the lower left and 'GOLDEN JUBILEE' in Latin to the lower right, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India's establishment.
