Reverse description The reverse displays the Norwegian coat of arms at centre: a crowned shield bearing the lion rampant of Norway, holding an axe, rendered in fine heraldic detail. The royal crown surmounts the shield. The date is divided on either side of the shield, with '19' to the left and the year digits to the right. The legend NORGE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 50 ØRE is inscribed along the lower periphery. A beaded border frames the entire design.
