| Obverse description | The centre of the note is dominated by a richly coloured vignette of a Chinese dragon rendered in shades of blue, red, green, and gold against an intricate guilloche underprint, with flames forming the upper panel background beneath the legend AÑO DEL DRAGÓN. To the left, a circular Chinese zodiac wheel displaying all twelve animal signs in green silhouette surrounds a yin-yang symbol, accompanied by a chronological list of Dragon years with their elemental attributions from 1916 to 2084.
