Reverse description The arms of Jersey occupy the central field, displaying the heraldic shield bearing three golden leopards passant guardant arranged in pale on a red ground, rendered in fine relief after the design of George Kruger Gray. The shield is uncrowned and presented without external ornamentation. The legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY arcs across the upper periphery, while FIFTY NEW PENCE and the date appear along the lower arc, together encircling the central armorial device. The overall composition is bold and well-balanced within the seven-sided format.
