Reverse description Central motif features a stylised traditional Chinese plum blossom, the national flower of the Republic of China, within which four 'Double Ten' (雙十) symbols are arranged to commemorate the eighty years elapsed since the founding of the ROC in 1911. An outer border of eighty individual dots, each representing one year of the Republic's existence, encircles the composition near the rim. Denomination, silver fineness, and weight inscriptions appear in the lower field in both Latin characters and Chinese script.
