Hasbro's "Crooked Cash" edition of Monopoly, released in 2021, included a counterfeit-detection mechanic built into gameplay — players could challenge suspect currency using a included scanner card. The 50-unit denomination note is part of a full currency set designed to look superficially legitimate while containing deliberate hidden flaws detectable only under that card.
Not legal tender, not a banknote, and not within the traditional scope of notaphily — but the set has attracted collector interest for the deliberate anti-counterfeiting parody embedded in what is, ultimately, a game accessory printed on lightweight paper.
