| Obverse description | Kriegsnotgeld (wartime emergency money) note printed in dark brown on a cream-toned guilloche underprint of interlocking oval rosettes. The issuing authority "Amtskörperschaft Geislingen-St." is set in ornate Fraktur script at the top, below which the denomination "Fünfzig Mark" is rendered in large, elaborately flourished Gothic lettering occupying the central field. Validity text at lower left notes "Giltig bis 1. Februar 1919 / Verlängerungsdauer vorbehalten," while the lower right records issuance in November 1918 on behalf of the Amtskörperschaft with the Oberamtmann's manuscript signature; a sequential serial number appears at centre bottom. |
