Reverse description The crowned Savoy coat of arms, a quartered shield bearing the dynastic cross of Savoy, is displayed at the centre of the field, supported on either side by symmetrical sprays of olive and oak branches tied at the base with a decorative ribbon. The legend REGNO D'ITALIA curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the denomination L. 50 appears in the lower field, flanked by the mint mark T and the assayer's initials BN.
