Obverse description Facing left bust of Pope Paul VI wearing the papal tiara, rendered in a stylized, low-relief artistic manner. The legend to the left reads PAVLVS VI·P.M. (Pontifex Maximus), while to the right the regnal year ANNO VII and the date in Roman numerals MCMLXIX appear in the field.
