Obverse description At centre, a highly detailed relief depiction of a traditional Turkish silver hair comb (Gümüş Tarak), featuring an ornately decorated upper spine adorned with intricate scrollwork, floral motifs, and granulation work in the style of Ottoman silversmithing, above evenly spaced straight tines. The circular legend around the upper periphery reads 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' to the left and 'REPUBLIC OF TURKEY' to the right, separated at the apex by the Turkish crescent-and-star emblem. Below the central device in the field appear the inscriptions 'Gümüş Tarak' and '2012', with the denomination '50 Türk Lirası' inscribed along the lower border, flanked by two raised dots.
