Obverse description	At right, an intaglio portrait vignette of President İsmet İnönü faces left within an ornate arched frame. The centre of the note carries a large guilloche rosette with the numeral 50 inset, above a letterpress tablet inscribed 'Elli Türk Lirası' and the enabling law text. Two printed signature facsimiles appear at lower centre, with the printer's imprint 'American Bank Note Company' at the foot.
