| Reverse description | The denomination numeral 50 is prominently struck in large figures above the central circular hole, with the Greek legend ΛΕΠΤΑ (Lepta) inscribed to the right of the aperture. A graceful spray of olive branches, rendered in fine naturalistic detail with individual leaves and berries, sweeps around the lower portion of the coin, framing the central hole from below on both sides. The mint mark H (Heaton, Birmingham) appears in small characters at the very bottom of the field, just above the rim. The overall design is simple and elegant, with the olive branch motif evoking classical Greek symbolism. |
