Obverse description Central field features the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Mehmed VI, rendered in fine calligraphic relief and flanked symmetrically by olive and laurel branches curving upward from the base. A row of five-pointed stars arcs across the upper periphery above the tughra. The regnal year numeral appears in Arabic script beneath the tughra within the wreath. The overall composition is characteristic of late Ottoman gold coinage, with the tughra dominating the design in a bold, ornate calligraphic style.
