Reverse description A multi-line Arabic legend in Ottoman script is arranged in stacked horizontal lines across the central field, reading the pious acclamation and mint statement. The inscription is enclosed within a symmetrical wreath of laurel and olive branches tied with a ribbon bow at the base, with a single five-pointed star surmounting the wreath at the top. The Hijri regnal year 1255 appears prominently at the foot of the legend, above the wreath tie.
