Obverse description The obverse features the Three Crowns (Tre Kronor), the ancient heraldic symbol of Sweden, arranged in the traditional two-over-one formation within a plain inner field. The crowns are rendered in fine relief with detailed ornamentation. The legend SVERIGE curves along the scalloped rim, reading from lower left to upper right. The denomination 50 Kr appears prominently in the lower field, flanked by the mintmaster's initial E to the left and the engraver's initial U to the right.
