| Obverse description | Unadorned right-facing bust of King Olav V in high relief, depicted in a plain civilian portrait style with closely cropped hair, occupying the central field. The circular legend reads OLAV V·NORGES KONGE, distributed around the periphery. The mint year 1991 appears in the lower portion of the field flanked by a cross and the mint mark K, with the engraver's initials ØH also present near the truncation. The portrait is rendered with fine sculptural detail against a mirror-polished proof field. |
