| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in dark brown on pale green paper and carries a central oval vignette of the village of Wolfern, rendered in fine line-work, with the parish church and its onion-domed steeple at centre, surrounded by trees and rooftops beneath a radiating sky. The vignette is framed by an interlaced Art Nouveau border of scrollwork, rosettes, and geometric chain ornament extending to the sheet edges.
