| Obverse description | Printed in green on white paper, the obverse is divided into two vignette panels within a decorative border of fine ornamental lines. The left panel presents a letterpress vignette of a rural chapel (labelled KAPELLE, dated 1779) surrounded by trees, signed by the artist R. Wild in the lower right corner. The upper right panel contains the denomination numeral '50' within a guilloche-style cartouche surmounted by floral ornaments, with 'Heller' in Gothic script below and the year '1920' on a crosshatched band. The lower right panel shows a stone archway identified as 'HOMMOCLER TOR', while the lower centre carries the issuing authority inscription in elaborate Gothic lettering. |
