| Reverse description | Plain cream paper with a simple dotted-and-square border frame. The heading 'WACHAUER NOTGELD.' with flanking denomination numerals '50' is set in uppercase letterpress at the top. The body carries a full legal obligation text in German Gothic capitals stating that the Marktgemeinde Spitz a/D pledges its entire movable and immovable assets for the acceptance of this note until 30 September 1920 and its redemption at the municipal treasury between 15 and 30 September 1920, followed by the anti-counterfeiting warning 'NACHAHMUNG WIRD BESTRAFT.' Three manuscript signatures appear below the printed titles 'Vizebürgermeister:', 'Bürgermeister:', and '1. Geschäftsf. Gem.-Rat:'. |
