| Obverse description | Tan and dark brown Notgeld voucher with an ornate guilloche border enclosing the central design. The municipal coat of arms of Bregenz, rendered as a heraldic shield surmounted by a mural crown, occupies the centre, flanked on each side by the bold numeral '50' above the denomination legend 'Heller' in Gothic script. A validity clause in German Fraktur type states that the voucher must be redeemed at the Vorarlberger Landeskasse in Bregenz within three months of public notice, with the issuing authority 'Vorarlberger Landesregierung' and the place-date 'Bregenz, am 1. Mai 1921' printed below, accompanied by two manuscript signatures. |
