| Obverse description | Printed in red and dark brown on plain paper, the obverse carries the denomination numeral '50' in circular cartouches at upper left and right, flanking the bold heading 'GUTSCHEIN DER GEMEINDE TRAUN' in Gothic lettering across the top. A large central '50' in outline numerals dominates the middle field, flanked on each side by the text 'FÜNFZIG HELLER' within decorative borders of repeating floral and shell motifs. The lower portion bears a five-line German legal obligation text naming Bürgermeister Heinrich Gruber and dated Traun, 31. Mai 1920, with a final warning line against counterfeiting. |
