| Obverse description | Printed in brown on cream paper, the obverse is framed by an elaborate acanthus-scroll border with floral corner ornaments. A central oval vignette, encircled by a wreath of alpine flowers, presents a scenic view of the pilgrimage church Mariahilf near Mondsee, set against a mountain lake landscape with wooded hillsides extending beyond the wreath on both sides.
