| Obverse description | Single-sided notgeld voucher printed in dark brown on plain paper, centred with the heraldic lion of Steyr on a shield as the central vignette, rendered in a woodcut-style illustration. The denomination '50 HELLER' is inscribed in bold letterpress at the top, with '50' repeated in large numerals at lower left and the issuing authority 'STADT STEYR' along the bottom margin. Flanking text panels state the total issue amount of 150,000 Kronen authorised by municipal resolution of 28 November 1919, and the redemption conditions valid until 30 June 1920 at the Stadtkasseamt; the issue date '19. Dezember 1919' appears at the lower centre. |
